Makeover Your Home for the Holidays

Makeover Your Home for the Holidays

THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

One of the most wonderful times of the year is fast approaching! We want to make this year especially wonderful by sharing inspiration on transforming your kitchen for under $500!

Now, is the time to get your home ready for the holiday festivities, but also, loving your home again. You don’t have to just live with your kitchen. We want to empower you so that you know that you can indeed, do it yourself!

When to Prepare:

Taking on a DIY can be overwhelming, but the important thing to remember is to make sure you allow for plenty of time to work and enjoy the process.

We recommend setting aside two weekends, AT LEAST two to three weeks prior to your festivities to make sure your DIY project is as stress free as possible.

1 weekend for your cabinets and 1 weekend for your countertops!

Remember to take your time, and know that you can fix it if you don’t like the direction your DIY is heading. The great thing about this is that it’s just paint! You can adjust it to fit your style and preference.

Next, find images that inspire you! This should be a fun step - imagining all the possibilities that can transform your space!

If you plan on painting both your cabinets and countertops, make sure to paint your cabinets first, to ensure that no drips mess up your new surface.

Connect with other bloggers and DIYers to see how they transformed their own homes. We provided a few links below to get you started!
